• Log files errors

I see this on my log file and need to know how to fix it or if its even a bug.

    GLib-GObject-CRITICAL: g_object_unref: assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed
Failed to set mode: Blocked through rfkill (0x12)
CPU0: Core temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 1)

    check your CPU temperature…

    sudo pacman -S lm_sensors
    sudo sensors-detect

  • Just checked it. It’s at 42.1 which is normal. It happened after I locked my screen which is weird.

  • Using gnome desktop

  • [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] ERROR Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=18262 end=18263) time 215 us, min 763, max 767, scanline start 758, end 768

This also shows on my log. I did research on the overclocking and some people had the same problem. Could it be a kernel update issue? I thought it was because I locked my computer but thats not the case.

    coretemp-isa-0000
    Adapter: ISA adapter
    Core 0:
    temp2_input: 54.000
    temp2_max: 90.000
    temp2_crit: 90.000
    temp2_crit_alarm: 0.000
    Core 2:
    temp4_input: 48.000
    temp4_max: 90.000
    temp4_crit: 90.000
    temp4_crit_alarm: 0.000

  • Give the LTS Kernel a try then:

    sudo pacman -S linux-lts

if you are using nvidia driver and not nouveau you need to install nvidia-lts too.
Make shure to choose the LTS Kernel on grub when rebooting!

  • Still getting this errors in my logs. Have no idea how to get rid of it.
