• Gnome Music Missing Album Art

    Hi Kind Antergos People

    My album art does not show up in gnome music but does show up in other applications like Rhytmbox.
    The cover art is placed inside the music folders as folder.jpg

    What I have tried:

    1. Uninstall and reinstall gnome-music
    2. run “tracker-preferences” - untick …/Music from locations - click apply - retick music - click apply again.
      … to no avail :(

    Does anyone know what could be wrong?
    PS: I am not a poweruser, so I might have messed something basic up

    Thanks in advance !

    Hi Thanks for the answer !

    Based on the thread: I have tried moving my files to the following structure:
    <Music>
    ----> <Artist>
    -------> <AlbumTitle>
    -----------> Track01
    -----------> Track02
    -----------> …
    -----------> folder.jpg

    This had no effect.

  • Hi @joekamprad … that is great news !

    I think I will just wait for Gnome 3.24. I am not comfortable trying out the unstable version.

    I will regard this for now as solved. Once the update have arrived I will update this thread.

    Thank you, the support for Antergos is amazing :D
