• 4.20 iso 64bit

after booting 4.20 iso, the wireless was not easy to set up. When I chose my wireless connection, the password dialog did not come up. When I opened the connections and entered it manually, it connected but there is a question mark instead of the wireless icon in the tray.

They still didn’t fix that? I’m thinking it won’t be fixed til the actual new release.

  • Hi everyone, I just confirmed the issues with the network applet icon are caused by a bug in Network Manager. Hopefully it will be corrected soon. Though from what I know this bug is only showing the wrong icon, the network connection should work like normal.

    Cheers!

  • wonder why cnchi hasn’t been updated?

Hi, I don’t quite understand what you mean. Cnchi has been updated. It’s now version 0.5.35

Bear in mind that we’re only doing bug fixing, and no new features will show up until 0.7.x development starts (after next 0.6 release)

  • what I ment is that the cnchi in the 4.20 iso is old according to the build log

  • Yes, the developer who runs our main server was away from a computer for the last few days so it wasnt updated. Cnchi development is usually so fast paced that there are changes everyday which is why I made the testing script

    Cheers!
