• Antergos won't load

Hi, just tried installing Antergos alongside my Windows 7 installation on an SSD, it installs ok but upon reboot after selecting antergos from the GRUB menu I get the following error :

    *starting version 232
    /dev/sdb9: recovering journal
    /dev/sdb9: clean, 1920/33456 files, 16088/133688 blocks
ERROR: Root device mounted successfully, but /sbin/init does not exist.
Bailing out, you are on your own. Good luck.

sh: can’t access tty: job control turned off
    [rootfs ]# _*

What have I done wrong? Any help very much appreciated. Also I did try the Manjaro live boot (USB) beforehand and it had a similar error trying to load from USB. I’ll list my system specs below for reference.

    i5 7600k
    Gigabyte 270x Ultra-Gaming
    16GB DDR4
    GTX 680
    128GB SSD, 500GB HDD, 1TB HDD.

    Hi

There can be many causes , please try:

Boot and grub appears press “e” key.
    Find a line "Linux…"
    Add to finish line :

    init=/bin/systemd

    Press F10 key and wait.

Start ok , open a console and type:

sudo mkinitcpio -p linux # Use kernel linux-lts put linux-lts
    sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

    Reboot
