• AUR empty

Today I wanted to install a package from AUR but the whole AUR list came up empty.
In terminal I got this message:
curl error: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

I tried to repopulate but that did not work. How can I get my AUR list back?

  • Hi,

A wild guess… Maybe you had some problem updating ca-certificates?

    Try updating it:

    sudo pacman -Syu
    sudo pacman -S ca-certificates --force

If it still does not work, check file permissions in /etc/ssl

    Cheers!

  • @karasu So far not luck.
I have no idea what exactly happened. It looks like the AUR file (if there is one, has gone). When I use Pacaur, it says that there packages are not present in AUR.

It must have happened yesterday, or the day before, because I was able to update till two days ago.

Could I use the live version to chroot and replace the Ca-files in etc/ and Use/share/ ?

You can try. To be honest, I do not really know what’s wrong in your system.
Tell me if you need help “chrooting”.

    Cheers!

I think that yaourt was broken. I removed Yaourt, updated with Pacaur and got my AUR entries back. The packages also show up in Octopi and Pamac again. Problem solved.
    Thx
