I am trying to get the winbind daemon to start in order to authenticate with windows domains as a program I use for work requires it. I have gotten this to work previously on Debian distributions (Mint) so I figure it’s most likely possible in Antergos as well.

I am not trying to join a domain or share files, just authenticate with one. We use a program called Radmin for remote assistance which is Windows only and uses NT domain credentials.

[[email protected] ~]$ systemctl start winbindd
Job for winbindd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status winbindd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
