    Pamac doubled repositories

I’m pretty sure I missed something.
When I check for updates, I have kind of double download for each repositories.
For istance, “community” is downloaded first with 4mb, then again 15,6mb.
    I may remove something somewhere?
    Any kindful suggestion?

@fabio I guess it’s related to this post
    Install reflector
    sudo pacman -S reflector
    and run this
sudo reflector --verbose --latest 5 --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
    OR this
sudo reflector --age 8 --fastest 128 --latest 64 --number 32 --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Then check if solved your problem… Solved on my VM.
    Cheers!

Sorry, can’t figure out what do you mean. Could you post back here the full terminal output of:

export LANG=C && sudo pacman -Syyu

    I may remove something somewhere?

It’s not a best way to work with Linux :) .

@just simply, when I check the updates with Pamac I have a double community resource. That doesn’t happen with the terminal, where all works flawlessly.
    I give you two screenshots.

The first is 4 MB, the second 15,6 MB.

@fabio I don’t use graphical package managers, so can’t help with them. It’s important that pacman doesn’t report any problem. The rest doesn’t matter.

Wait for eventual help from pamac users.

    Thank you.

That’s fine. Instead of pamac, use yaourt to work with | check for updates from AUR:

    yaourt -Syua

    without sudo. It’s that simple.

Yaourt works not only for AUR, but for regular Arch repos also. It may be seen as a full CLI pacman replacement with AUR support.

Thank you for suggesting, of course I didn’t know that.
    I should mark as solved?

No problem. We’re all learning constantly. Come si dice da noi, nessuno nasce imparato :) .

    I should mark as solved?

It’s up to you to decide. Come vuoi, dipende da te. Io direi di si’, pero’ potresti aspettare ancora un po’ - magari qualcuno sapra’ dire qualcosina su pamac.

    Ciao
