Antergos failed to install package list

    Hello

I’m trying to install Antergos on my Compaq Presario V3000 laptop and it’s returning this error:

2017-02-23 12:51:26 [ERROR] download.py(145) create_metalinks_list(): Error creating metalink for package nvidia-304xx-libgl. Installation will stop

(‘Error creating metalink for package nvidia-304xx-libgl. Installation will stop’,)

2017-02-23 12:51:26 [ERROR] process.py(132) run(): misc.extra.InstallError: ‘Cannot create download package list (metalinks).’

Any ideas on how to proceed from here?

Hey thanks for the reply. I’ve rebooted and tried several times already, but I’ll give it another go.

It was maybe a couple weeks ago when I put it on my usb stick? I only had 1gb of ram on this laptop at the time and I was getting an error at the very end of the install saying that
it couldn’t allocate memory or something, so I ended up installing something else. I’ve since upgraded to 3gb so I thought I’d give it another try. But now it’s crashing at the very beginning.

Only thing you can try is to open a terminal and do a

    sudo pacman -Syy

    Before starting with installation.

I am not the pro on cnchi may one of the devs have a clue…

Just tried again. This time it made it to 91% of downloading the packages but failed with error number 482962

Just tried that… Same thing. failed with an error number. Oh well. I guess I’ll just try Manjaro.

've got Manjaro installed now, but I’d rather have Antergos as Manjaro comes with a bunch of stuff I don’t need and I’d rather install Antergos with Openbox. If any Devs have any ideas
on what I could do to solve this that would be great.
