    This screen is called plymouth theme. It has pure aesthetical purpose - to hide various text messages displayed on the screen, or just a black screen, during boot.

    There could be eventual error messages, among them. Those giving a clue why the boot doesn’t go on. You should try to catch them up, and post them back here.

    While plymouth theme is displayed, press once either Esc or ArrowUp key. This will temporarily hide plymouth, and you’ll be able to read the text on the screen.

    Press either Esc or ArrowUp key again to unhide the plymouth theme.

    Two keys don’t influence the boot process in any way. Boot continues normally. Plymouth state - hidden | shown - doesn’t stored anywhere.
