For some time now, I have been having this issue when running applications with primusrun and sometimes optirun gets stuck and it generates no error output at all. It usually happens immediately after I close an software that was running with primusrun and try to run anything. It’s not unusual for this to happen right after I boot the PC as well.

For example, when I try to run primusrun playonlinux, it just gets stuck in Looking for python2.7... 2.7.13 - wxversion(s): 3.0-gtk2 and it doesn’t show anything else no matter how long I leave it running.

[[email protected] ~]$ primusrun playonlinux
Looking for python... 3.6.0 - skipped
Looking for python2.7... 2.7.13 - wxversion(s): 3.0-gtk2

And primusrun steam.

[[email protected] ~]$ primusrun steam
/home/verzwei/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: linha 154: VERSION_ID: variável não associada
/home/verzwei/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: linha 154: VERSION_ID: variável não associada
Running Steam on antergos 64-bit
/home/verzwei/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: linha 154: VERSION_ID: variável não associada
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1476379980)

Other commands like primusrun dolphin-emu, primusrun firefox-nightly, primusrun glxgears and etc, just result in the terminal cursor blinking.

Running systemctl status bumblebeed.service results in the following.

Then when I try to turn off the laptop, it shows a message saying A stop job is running for bumblebee c daemon with a timer that increases every time it gets there.

Does anyone has any idea on how to fix this? I tried to google this issue, but couldn’t find anything. Thanks!
