• One of these things is not like the other....

    So I usually use gnome system monitor for my other systems…but KDE has it’s own special monitor for system resources. My current issue is that Gnome monitor shows 700mb on idle where KDE only shows 400mb. Which one is telling the truth on my ram usage?

  • Just out of curiosity, can you open a terminal while both apps are open and run the top command?

    Oh, and do a cat /proc/meminfo in another terminal, too.
