• Antergos: Automatically download updates via SYSTEMD

Since Arch Linux receives daily system upgrades it is extremely convenient when adjusted to automatically download them in the background. So, here is a tutorial of how to create a SystemD service from scratch that will check and at the same time download updates so that, when we want to, we proceed with their installation without waiting to be downloaded.

  • Ouch! The article disappeared alltogether!!! I guess I ll have to wait for a day or two, as suggested elsewhere and then take some action. Till then, here is the link of where it was taken from. It is in greek, but trust me that GoogleTranslation is a very good one:

  • It’s my fault. I had to revert the main website to the most recent backup yesterday and it looks like your article was created after the last backup was made so I’m afraid its gone. Sorry about that! :grimacing:
