• Changing window behaviour

I’ve just installed the Gnome 3 desktop and am playing with Antergos for the first time. I keep having windows maximise and rearrange when I reposition the program’s window against my will :(

Where are the controls for that sort of thing?

  • @dixonpete hi. You mean the maximize/minimize.close buttons on the RH corner of a window? If so, you have to set them yourself in the Gnome Tweak Tool…
    Cheers

  • I found that quickly after I posted my question. That was one piece. The other that I haven’t fixed yet is where the window is moved to the side and that action causes the window to conform to the side of the screen. Usually I don’t intend that. It’s like someone reaching in and grabbing the mouse on me!
