how do i get libreoffice for antergos?

  • If you haven’t already chosen the libreoffice package during installation, you can either open a terminal and type sudo pacman -S libreoffice-fresh or install it with pamac.

  • ok, that worked. tnx

is there a way to put shortcut [link?] to it on the desktop?

  • @yodar444 what desktop are you using?

I guess there is. I had come across a tutorial when Gnome was my everyday DE.
The philosophy of Gnome 3 though, is to have your desktop as clean as possible and have all your favorite apps pinned in the dock (dash to dock) in this case). Doesn t this suit you?

  • ok, i can work with the dock.
is there any kind of user guide for antergos? i was deep into unix 20 years ago, but since retiring, i have been spoiled by windows gui.

There sure is. As you probably know, Antergos is practically Archlinux. So, you can always safely refer to:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/

  • @anarch
