• \[SOLVE\]\[Antergos\] /etc/os-release -\> ANSI\_COLOR wrong setted

    Hi guys,
    I noticed that at boot, ‘Antergos’ title color are not displayed correctly.
    I mean:
    At Cinnarch boot, a message was printed like:
    Welcome to Cinnarch[/color:3rislak2]!
    At Antergos boot, is:

    Welcome to |1;34;40Antergos|!

    I’m not sure about which symbols but I’m definetly sure that text is not coloured.
    Also, the text between symbols:

    came from [b:3rislak2]/etc/os-release[/b:3rislak2]:
    ---
    NAME="Antergos"
    ID=antergos
    PRETTY\_NAME="Antergos"
    ANSI\_COLOR="1;34;40″ [b:3rislak2]<---[/b:3rislak2]
    HOME\_URL="http://www.antergos.com/"
    ---
    Ideas to fix it?
    (I didn't use some [code] because of breaking internal formatting)

  • Is this happening on a fresh install, or after doing the cinnarch -> antergos migration?

  • Just FYI, it works as expected for me (fresh install)!

  • I think, if it is from a cinnarch migration that you have to change those `` with "

  • Cinnarch GNOME edition, so I had just to change repos and replace a few things… will try

    — Addition at 17.59 +01.00 GTM

    I edited the text in [i:10usegx6]/etc/os-prober[/i:10usegx6] with gedit and so it got the formatting elements of the blog…
    So now I changed -> " <- with keyboard standard ones and ‘Antergos’ text is correctly displayed! Cheers

  • Well looks like we have another solved thread!
