• How to Check RAM usage for DE

I’m running Antergos with Xfce 4 and I want to see how much RAM the DE is using. How do I go about doing that.

    Lenovo IdeaCentre Q180

    • Antergos with Xfce 4
    • Intel Atom D2700 (2 cores / 4 threads, 2.13GHz, 1MB cache)
    • 4 GB PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3
    • AMD Radeon HD 6450A Graphics, 512MB
    • Intel NM10 Express Chipset
  • Xfce typically uses 70mb - 192mb (someone can correct me if i’m wrong)
If you go to a command prompt and type

    free -m

It will list current used and free ram. You can also see it with programs like screenfetch, archey, neofetch, etc, those will tell you what you are currently using.
