• Unable to boot after updating

I’ve updated Antergos (KDE) an hour ago and I’m unable to log in or boot the OS successfully for that matter. Here’s a picture of the errors I’m getting. I’m unable to access the terminal or type anything at all.
I’ve updated the kernel from to aside from all the other packages and I think that’s what’s causing the problem. How do I fix this?

    Are you using ZFS?

  • Can you run blkid ? I want to see your device partitions and their UUIDs.

  • @karasu

Yes, I can. I’m on a Live ISO right now. Here’s the output:

    /dev/loop0: TYPE="squashfs"
    /dev/sda1: LABEL="System Reserved" UUID="1E2EEB642EEB3385" TYPE="ntfs" PARTUUID="4b414b40-01"

  • Is there anything I can do to fix this besides reinstalling?

  • @sophiawrightandrespena5 I had exactly the same problem. The bug is described here: bugs.archlinux.org
I temporaly fixed it by downgrading packages like gawk, bash, lvm2 and then linux + linux-headers.
