• Live USB with KDE / Plasma?

    Hi,

is there a way tto fire up a live USB stick with Plasma desktop instead of the default one (is it GNOME?)? I’m missing some features which KDE should provide and would like to give it a try without having tto install to disk.

    Many thanks

    Thorsten

No, there is not. Yes, it is Gnome 3.

  • Oh, i see. Can i select Plasma on install or do i have to install it later?

Sure you can! Gnome 3 is the LiveDE only. When Cnchi (Antergos installer) will start, you’ll be able to select and install any DE you prefer:

    • Openbox
    • Kde (Plasma)
    • Mate
    • Cinnamon
    • XFCE
    • Gnome 3
    • I don’t remember them all :)
  • Thanks a lot. Looking for some free disk space now …
