• Stop using the graphical grub

I’ve been looking for elegant grub2 themes (I’m not really into the default one) but I don’t find anything that I like. The only nice ones are for burg but I don’t feel like messing around again, I’ve just spent some hours repairing this one, so not again.

So, is there a simple way to switch from the graphical grub to the simple text-based that other distros use? Feels more elegant imo.

PD: I also accept theme suggestions, just in case you convince me 😉

  • If you only choose the same option you can always bypass the grub menu: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/grub-holdshift/

  • It wasn’t exactly was I was looking for but it will do, thanks!
