• Unable to complete installations

I have been trying to install antegros in VirtualBox and it works fine with Cinammon, Gnome, Openbox, but it won’t work with XFCE.

With the stable iso, the installation just stops at 100%.
With the testing iso, the installation issues an error at 100%.

This happens every time, and I even redownloaded isos and checked their md5s.

    Is this a know issue?

  • Ok, it installed, but after reboot I am stuck on the login screen (even though I selected automatic login during installation).

I click the penguin, type in the password, hit enter, and nothing happens.

  • Hi lockheed,

It’s been a long time since I tested XFCE… let me test it and I’ll get back to you if I find what’s wrong.

By the way, could you post your cnchi.log ?

You can find it in /tmp (just after the installation finishes) or in /var/log in your installed system.

(if you can’t log, simply press ctrl+alt+f2 to open a new terminal and log in there)
