I’m gettin a problem. So I went to GNOME Settings, but it says Wi-Fi and under it Unavailable. idk what to do

The driver wi-fi did not install? Show the output: lspci -k

me too. Another worked yesterday. RTL8192CU. Cinamon. I write from Windows.

Install: yaourt -S 8192cu-dkms and reboot system.

@tuxnot установил Ubuntu Mate, т.к. кроме этой внезапной проблемы, еще была проблема с принтером LJ 1102. Мой уровень недостаточен для решения этих неполадок, да и время не хочу тратить на поиски. Спасибо. Пишу по-русски, т.к. подпись Russian fan club.

@Serg-Red жаль. В Ubuntu Mate драйвер завелся без дополнительных манипуляций ? Если нет, то на форуме есть товарищ со своим репозиторием, в котором собирает некоторые драйвера и там точно есть драйвер для RTL8192CU.
Для данного модуля есть поддержка в ядре, но по отзывам она никакая, поэтому ставят 8192cu-dkms. У вас он точно установился ? Спрашиваю, что бы знать на будущее. Надеюсь в будущем, в новом ядре, будет нормальная поддержка этого модуля.

@tuxnot все встало сразу и принтер тоже после установки доп. ПО НР. Драйвер у меня был установлен и всё работало а течение полугода до вчерашнего дня. Наверное, какое-то обновление порушило.

@Serg-Red переустановить драйвер пробовали ?

@tuxnot кстати, драйвер под Убунту действительно работает плохо, пришлось переустанавливать. Но много ссылок в Инете, проблем не было. Теперь скорость нормальная, а так подтормаживал.

@Serg-Red он везде плохо работает, но да, в Убунту есть рабочие решения. На самом деле вариант с 8192cu-dkms тоже рабочий, странно почему он поломался. Может не был добавлен в blacklist.conf ? Не знаю…

I join this topic. I want to install Antergos on my second laptop (Lenovo G510), but when I open the live-cd it I haven’t to Wi-Fi choice, as in Xubuntu. I can’t, therefore install the driver and begin the installation the system. I have network card Broadcom. What do I do in this case?

Right question . But the user can also download broadcom-wl from any other OS with Internet access, and then install it locally in Antergos.

@tuxnot Yes, there is a possibility of a wired internet connection. But Antergos isn’t system for everyone, because who will want to write commands in the terminal before installation??? It’s discourage… :/

I meant the native Arch package download, from Arch servers. It may be done in other Linux, in Windowz, tablet, smartphone… It doesn’t matter.
