• Closing laptop lid results in suspend

    I have turned on “Do not suspend” using the tweak tool and it doesn’t seem to be doing just that. When I close the laptop lid it still results in a suspended state where the screen goes blank and I have to log back in to get back into my system. Is this a lock screen issue or is the function not working?

  • I know that hibernate and suspend gives a lot of issues under Linux in general. In your case, try this:

    Good luck!

  • Thanks! I edited /etc/systemd/logind.conf but instead of:

    HandleLidSwitch=ignore

    For some reason I put = nothing
    That and I forgot to do the:

    systemctl restart systemd-logind

    I really gotta stop tweaking code late at night x_x
