    2. Although starting Cnchi with commandline update and sudo privilige, system gives error with some ref-number when installation mostly completed.

  • @omerdemirbag said in Advices about Antergos Common Installation Problem ?:

    gives error with some ref-number

We can’t do anything with so little info ;)

Could you check Cnchi’s log after the error is shown? (it’s /tmp/cnchi.log)

Also, the very exact message that is shown.

    Thanks!

  • @omerdemirbag possibly download is corrupt? you using dvd or usb for install? how are you writing it? maybe try downloading again and rewrite from fresh.

    suseimagewriter works nice.

  • Seems that the package grub2-theme-antergos is the culprit. Let me do some tests and I’ll get back to you.

  • @karasu I’ve found some files (of previous installations) and deleted them from boot partition . Now I’m at Antergos .

Maybe this title is solved, but I’m not sure; some guys in forum also experienced installation problem.

    Thanks for your attentions …

  • Sorry, I’ve been crazy busy at work (just got back from holidays).

I hope tomorrow I will have some time to test this in a VM.

    I’m glad you solved it.

    Cheers!

  • I also managed to install it at last but there is definitely some major bug in the last release.

  • Hi,

Tested again with latest ISO, works fine. Without more data I’m afraid I can’t know what’s wrong.

    Cheers!

  • @karasu @megaman @simonsaysthis

Thanks for your attentions… I’ve solved the problem by organizing (deleting some files from) /boot partition.

Sorry for cannot give more data to you , I couldn’t handle gathering info).

Lastly, Maybe some junks in boot partition cause the problem, so it will be good to mind to take a look at there if a problem occurs like mine.

    Thanks again guys, Good Works!
