• Pacman process that eats at my mem and cpu

I have this process of pacman that kills and respawns every 5 secs to spike my system to 100% usage and the command doing this is pacman -Sdup --print-format %r/%n %v

    Image too 0_1472592310382_pacman.png

Is there a way to see what program or tool or something is executing that command every 5 secs?

EDIT: the AUR package appset-qt was making that command spawn, is it safe to remove since being an AUR package?

  • Hi,

    yaourt -Ss appset-qt

It’s a package manager, so yes, you can safely remove it.

    Cheers!
