• Gnome and XFCE post-install issues

After finally finding an ISO that would boot to live session via DVD, I’ve had several issues.

    ISO: antergos-2014.02.09-x86_64.iso

[u:3fgh7b6b]I installed with [b:3fgh7b6b]Gnome[/b:3fgh7b6b] twice (no UEFI, this was BIOS/MBR install). Install was successful.[/u:3fgh7b6b]

    [b:3fgh7b6b][i:3fgh7b6b]Post install[/i:3fgh7b6b][/b:3fgh7b6b]:
[u:3fgh7b6b]Issue 1[/u:3fgh7b6b]) Each time, each install - I clicked on my Media partition, I was asked for my password. I thought that was VERY odd. I’ve never had to enter a password to access another partition on my drive.
[u:3fgh7b6b]Issue 2[/u:3fgh7b6b]) Any time I clicked my external hard drive, the entire system froze. Only way out was a hard reboot.

[u:3fgh7b6b]I installed with [b:3fgh7b6b]XFCE[/b:3fgh7b6b] three times (no UEFI, this was BIOS/MBR install). Install was successful.[/u:3fgh7b6b]

    [b:3fgh7b6b][i:3fgh7b6b]Post Install[/i:3fgh7b6b][/b:3fgh7b6b]:
[u:3fgh7b6b]Only issue[/u:3fgh7b6b]) I could only log in once successfully. All other times, LightDM would tell me the password was incorrect. It was not incorrect.

When this problem occurs, check if there is a directory for your user in /run/media/
if not exists, create, and try again.

    \#mkdir /run/media/username

    \#chown user /run/media/username

I do not have this problem, I used the image 2013.17.11 64bits, with usb media created with dd on two machines.
May have been a problem during user creation.
