• Mouse settings not working in Gnome

I installed Antergos on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2013).

Everything seems fine which is nice ;). But i have some problems with the mousetrack.

Settings in Gnome / tweak does not work. Making it impossible to enable naturell scrolling and turning off touch click. Two fingered click is also very complicated.

Searching online its called mouse and touchpad options. The gnome in antergos does not have any touchpad options.

How can i see what driver is Active? (Or configure it)

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

    I use the xf86-input-mtrack driver: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MacBook#Touchpad

  • @izznogooood Gnome has switched from synaptics driver to libinput. Antergos hasn’t made the change in their ISOs yet. For me it worked after I ran the following changes.
    sudo pacman -S xf86-input-libinput
    sudo pacman -R xf86-input-synaptics
    sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf ~/
Reboot. If you want to switch back to synaptics driver, then restore the conf file and reinstall synaptics driver.

  • @prasadkumar013 Thank you, that worked like a charm.
@karasu I will definitely give this a look later as threefinger drag is a necessity when you get used to it.

Now to tackle the insane scroll speed ;).
