What was the name of the GUI Package Management?

    Hello,
I must have screwed up and uninstalled the GUI package management that came with my antergoes installation. I have been trying to learn the pacman CLI. I have been searching with “pacman -Ss and -Sg” not to mention this forum and I’m still not finding what I’m looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes I like to fallback on a gui to see everything thats installed and explore whats not. None of the package management tools on the Arch linux wiki was what I was looking for.

    Thank You!

    Gui , you mean Pamac? terminal : pamac-manager pamac-install pamac-tray,

there are few others like pacmanxf in repo octopi gnome-software

but pamac is based up on libalmp like pacman, and octopi is a qt5 package manager frontend of pacman =-)
and pacmanxg is pacman frontend :)

installed systems got pamac onboard as i thought?

@ringo32 thank you for your reply!

I did a search for pacmac and got nothing

    pacman -Ss pacmac

However I did get octopi installed and it does the trick, reminds me of synaptic manager I’m still not sure what came with the install or better yet where it went. Oh well all is good thanks for the help.

Pamac is the default package management program that comes with Antergos.

To install Pamac, open terminal and enter this command:

    sudo pacman -S pamac

@ringo32 , pacmanxg was abandoned. Its creator is missing
    http://almin-soft.ru/index.php?sluzhebnye/pacmanxg/tags/pacmanxg
and its packager has decided to stop supporting it…

…As I no longer maintain any 32-bit systems and the users I once supported who used this application have migrated to other solutions I will not be maintaining this package. Best of luck, feel free to adopt it if you have the time".
