• Software Manager Gone

I’ve been a little stupid. I was getting lots of problems with Cairo dock so I went into the software centre and selected it for deletion which took out a whole slew of other programs without me paying any attention to them. Basically it seems to have remove gnome. I have now reinstalled gnome and added back the Antergos themes. All looks back to normal now however I have no software centre / update manager. How do I get that back?

Hi. I guess you mean pamac.
    sudo pacman -S pamac

    1.Antergos Linux KDE plasma / Gnome 2.Ubuntu 18.04 64bit Gnome
    Intel Core2 Duo CPU P8400 2.26GHz‖ RAM 3908 MiB ‖ Dell Inc. 0F328M - Dell Inc. Latitude E6500
Intel Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics [8086:2a42] {i915

  • Sorry no. It’s the gui that comes up that allows you to install software and the update manager that also runs as a gui. Pacman seems to be ok.

  • I’ve noticed it’s taken out quite a bit of other software as well and as this is pretty new install I think I will just reinstall.

  • @Eamonn-Doyle pamac is the gui part. i know the names are similar though.
