• Wifi unstable...don´t know what happened


    Hello guys

    Since 3 days ago, i´m having troubles with my wifi connection. Totally unstable.

    I´m using the last LTS Kernel on my Dell D630.

    Here is my network controller:

    EDIT: I forgot to mention…the problem starts since a technician changes some parameters in the router and the wifi encryption. I´m testing disabling the IPV6.

  • Sometimes there’re routers (if they’re a bit old) or network devices (probably because of the drivers) that have problems working with WPA2 and work flawlessly when simply using WPA.

    You could check if this is your case (just to rule things out).

    In my house there is wifi and a TV wireless system, both running on the same channel, that´s the problem. Changed channel for wifi and problem solved :+1:
