  • Oh okay. Do you want it to be mountable by user or just read and writable once its already mounted? If the former, you can use gnome-disk-utility to change the mount options for the card. (Turn of automatic mounting to edit the options). If it doesnt matter who mounts but only that users can write to the card you can simply run:

    sudo chmod -R 775 /path/to/sdcard/mnt  
    sudo chown -R username:users /path/to/sdcard/mnt
    

    (Change username to your username. Now you and any other users that are a part of the “users” group will have access.)
