• Installed from testing image - grub question

Hello, I sucessfully installed antergos from testing image “antergos-2014.01.26-x86_64.iso” on uefi based desktop (intel haswell i5) machine, everything works fine but I noticed that I have two different grub entries, one is called “Arch linux-pkg” and another “Antergos”. I would like to know why installer made those two, is this might something to do with uefi installation, if one will fail then second is available. Do I need to keep them both or I can delete one, if yes, which? I attached screenshot from meld comparing two entries.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

This is due to a bug in upstream Grub. Please see [this post[/url:2emqd5o5] for more details.
