• Steam wont starts without two commands

    Hi guys!
    I’m new user of Antergos, i come from Ubuntu.
    To install Steam i used:

    sudo pacman -S steam

    After install, it wont starts.
    Every time when i wana use it, i’ve to use:

    LD_PRELOAD='/usr/$LIB/libstdc++.so.6 /usr/$LIB/libgcc_s.so.1

    /usr/$LIB/libxcb.so.1 /usr/$LIB/libgpg-error.so' steam

    Is there any way to fix this?

  • I m not a gamer myself, but did you try the wiki?
    Also, googling will bring you a good number of results as this subject has been discussed here quite often.

  • Yes, i was made it.
    I have tried use all the tips of I funded, but anyone works.
    In others distros, it is so simple to install…

  • Then, if you don t get any answers, I suggest you go thrugh the Arch wiki. Antergos uses what s in Arch repos (with a few exceptions).

  • I’hve found the resolution here

    Just execute on terminal this command and the Steam will be works fine

    find ~/.steam/root/ -name "libgpg-error.so*" -print -delete

    Now to starts it, i’ve just click Stem on menu.
