• No 4K resolution after upgrade from linux 4.6.1-2 to 4.6.2-1

See Arch linux forum thread: “No 4K support after upgrading 4.6.1 - 4.6.2”.

  • Temporary fix is return to linux 4.6.1-2.

    cd /var/cache/pacman/pkg/
    sudo pacman -U linux-4.6.1-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
    sudo pacman -U linux-headers-4.6.1-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz # For e.g. a working VirtualBox

No, I tried the LTS kernel. => No 4K.

Also, the regular kernel v4.9.6-1 does still not work.
