• USB 3.0 recognition

I just installed Antergos and am running into a few problems. The most important ones are my USB harddrives being detected. My USB 2.0 are working, and anything plugged into them are detected (including my USB 3.0 harddrives). When I plug anything into my USB 3.0 ports, they are not detected; however my phone will charge off the USB 3.0 port but not mount/detect.

When I do lsusb, it looks like my USB 2.0 ports are showing up as 1.1 ports and my 3.0 ports are possibly showing up as 2.0 ports. However, nothing shows up connected to the 3.0 ports.

For reference, the keyboard and mouse (Bus 4) is a USB 2.0 port. Bus 5 is a Razer Tartarus (also on a USB 2.0 port). Bus 2 is a USB 3.0 flash drive.

Let me know if you need any other logs, I’m a total newb and am not sure what else I need to get these hard drives working.

  • Hi
I found a similar and quite recent issue reported (and solved) in the Arch forum…
