I’m currently using Linux Mint but am thinking about trying out Anrergros.
At the moment I have root installed on an SSD with my home folder on a spinning disk… looking at the arch installer it looks like it will be pritty easy for me to repeat this set up, because the GUI is so much like ubiquity etc…
But my question is about weather I need to make any tweeks after installation to allow for the fact that I’m using an SSD.
When I first installed mint I followed instructions like these to configure my system for SSDs: [http://namhuy.net/1563/how-to-tweak-and-optimize-ssd-for-ubuntu-linux-mint.html]">[http://namhuy.net/1563/how-to-tweak-and] … -mint.html
Will anything similar be needed for Anrergros?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
P.S. I first heard about Anrergros on the Linux Action Show… Easy set up, Cinnamon out the box, rolling release with up-to-date packages from the AUR made Anrergros sound like a very compelling proposition!
