• Dropbox and Amarok broken after last update

Yesterday I’ve updated my system. Since the update, Amarok crashes on launch (Bus error).

Dropbox also refuses to launch. It’s error file states:

OperationalError: database or disk is full

    My disks aren’t full.

    Anyone having a similar issues?

  • Turns out that /var was full to the brim with pacman cache (which pacman conveniently deletes if you’re trying to install stuff while your disk is full).

  • I like to run this command every now and then, clears the cache but keeps last 3 versions of updates.

    paccache -rvk3
  • @anika200 That’s helpful. I wondered if there was a way to clear the cache while retaining the last few versions. I’ll take a note.
