I had been dual-booting this machine with Windows 7, since the day it was new. I’ve been running Antergos, with a big smile on my face for a few weeks, and had been playing around with the RC release in VirtualBox. Earlier this morning, I decided it was time to get serious, so I wiped the drive and went with a fresh install of the RC. Who needs Windows anyway, aye? It had been three years since I had booted Windows, so it was just wasting space.

Dustin, I had to run the modprobe commands you suggested in the Live environment, but once I got the full install booted up, everything was detected and working a treat. I really intended to set root up with BTRFS, but that’s no real issue. I might do a re-install with BTRFS, in a day or two. Other than that, Antergos is rocking the house, and I am loving every minute of it.

  • Glad to hear it. Oh and you are right, who needs Windows? I have been windowless on my system for 2 years now

    Cheers!

For people developing .NET in Visual Studio it’s an advantage

But I do run VM’s, a laptop and a few VPS’s with linux. Always switching between debian and antergos
