    I hope this helps.

  • @jmontana As reported in Arch --> Aur page, the dvdstyler 2.9.6-1 package does not currently build successfully.

Please, do not attribute to Antergos upstrem packages issues.

[Unsolved] tag has been removed from the post.

  • Thank You for replying. I was not saying that it was an Antergos problem, I was just trying to see if I could get some help. I could not answer the question on the ARCH forums to register, so I thought I would ask here to see if some else might have a fix for this problem.
    Thanks Again,

  • Yes it is best to contact the maintainer of DVDStyler to get them to update the package etc.
Kinda looking like ffmpeg I would remove and reinstall to see if that fixed it.

What are others using, I have not even looked at DVDStyler, is it like Devede which creates DVD disks to play in a conventional player using video files as the source?
I know that one works, and is what I use, it processes very fast.

  • Thank you for the info on DEVEDE. I was finally able to get register on ARCH Forums and able to contact the maintainer. The problem has been corrected very fast and was very much appreciated by me.
Thanks to all who responded and Have A Great Day!

    Jason

  • All sounds good. There are a few Windows apps that do basically same thing.
    ConvertXtoDVD and SoThink Movie Creator.
The first one offers a decent experience, with some settings tweaks needed. and the second one is good but puts watermarks in the video in the free version.

Devede does not. It seems to perform well, and easy to use. I havent even had time to play with it, but hoping it works and supports NAS share source, as I do not want to take time copying movie and video files to the local drive.
