• Grub problems after installation (grup update is slow)

Update: Grup update is too slow.

Grub update cannot completed after installation.
It’s waiting long time and my grub setup is gone.
I can restore grub, fix the problem with grup customizer.
But grup update is still slow when grub-customizer os-probing or updating grub.
My partition setup looks like this:

    sda1 /ubuntu distro or windows7
    sda2 / antergos
    sda3 /home
    sda4 /swap

I install antergos to my 2 machine. 2-3 linux already installed. Both have same problems.
I was able to complete only after delete other linux partitions on the disk.

Am I missing something ? Any suggestions wellcome.

  • @ertan Make a bootable USB with http://www.osforensics.com/tools/write-usb-images.html or CD using http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ image. Try to load all of your OSes contained on your HDD. If this can boot them all, you may need to edit your boot loader, or use a different one. I hope this helps as its worth a shot.
There is probably a better way, but I don’t know it.
