• Compatibility with Arch

    Hello, Antergos folk.

    Quick direct question.

I have decided to go the route of Antergos however I have one concern.

    1. I should be able to use all Arch wikis / installs / tutorials without a problem unlike with Manjaro which tries real hard to make working from real Arch repos difficult?

    2. and with that, are the Arch repos “setup” by default?

    please advise.

  • Hi,

Our goal is to stay a close to pure Arch as possible. The few things we do differently are only to make Arch Linux more accessible to both normal and less experienced linux users. When you install Antergos, you end up with a very well balanced and lightweight installation of Arch (official repos as well). The Arch Wiki is just as relevant to Antergos as it is to Arch. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Welcome to Antergos

    Best Regards,
