• Where do I report bugs?

Where should I report bugs associated with the default setup of Gnome? I had this question (https://forum.antergos.com/topic/3292/issue-for-power-saving-settings-not-working-by-default/2) but I didn’t feel like I had properly reported the problem I’m seeing. Is the forum the place to get issues resolved? It wasn’t clear to me where to report issues on Github.

  • https://github.com/antergos is the right place for bugs on antergos stuff…
example for a issue with Cnchi:

    https://github.com/Antergos/Cnchi/issues

  • Where should I report the issue I mentioned? Would it also be in Cnchi? Perhaps antergos-iso or antergos-packages?

  • Hi,

If it’s an installation problem or a Gnome setup problem, you should put your issue in Cnchi.

    antergos-iso is for liveCD problems.

antergos-packages is for problems in an antergos package (those that are from our repository)

If you feel is a Gnome problem, then you should report it upstream.

    Cheers!

  • I guess it could be a Gnome problem. This is the only implementation of Gnome that I use so I’m not sure if it could have been introduced by Antergos.

    Thank you for the reply!

  • I don t see your issue (power settings) in Gnome is a bug or something. It has to do with Antergos configuration which uses the LightDm. Switching to GDM will give your default Gnome power settings back. That is if using the Light Locker Settings isn t what you like, of course.
