• \[SOLVED\] Install hangs on 100%

The installer completes almost everything and hangs on 100% when installing gstreamer0.10-ugly-plugins. Not sure if this is linked to another bug with graphics (as the background for some reason is completely white).
Note I am using this testing release ISO as the normal release doesn’t let me into the live cd environment. Linked here: [url:yjfyukvq]http://mirrors.antergos.com/iso/testing/antergos-2013.11.10-x86_64.iso[/url:yjfyukvq]

    Also the log shows this:

So gstreamer may perhaps be installed?

So gstreamer may perhaps be installed?

  • I fixed this by setting my laptop to use legacy BIOS instead of UEFI. For those who find this.

  • Oops, ok glad to hear it! lol

  • Hi,

Calv, were you performing an Automatic or an Advanced installation?

If it was the advanced one, were you using MBR or GPT for your disc?

    Thanks!

  • I’m guessing MBR since I’m dualbooting Windows 7. And I was doing an advanced install as I didn’t want to delete my old Win7 install.
