• [SOLVED]How do I install downloaded packages?

    Hi,
    I’m new of Antergos!

    Is there a beginners’ guide available somewhere?
    I would actually like to know if there’s a way of installing downloaded packages. Ok, I know that you can download&install packages via pacman, but if I download a package (for instance on my Desktop) how can I install it?
    Is there any instruction as “dpkg -i” in Debian?

    Thanks
    MatteP

    $ sudo pacman -U [path-to-package]

    For example:

    $ sudo pacman -U /home/UserName/Downloads/MyPackage.pkg.tar.xz

    Yes. See the example above.
