• Wine installation 64 bit

How can I install wine on 64 bit system. If I try:

     sudo pacman -S wine

    I get:

    Fehler: Ziel nicht gefunden: wine

    This are my activated repositories:

    # The testing repositories are disabled by default. To enable, uncomment the
    # repo name header and Include lines. You can add preferred servers immediately
    # after the header, and they will be used before the default mirrors.

    [core]

If I search for wine using the Arch Linux package search. I can only find wine for 32 bit systems.

How can I install wine? Is there another repository?

  • Hi @BuZZ-dEE

You need to fully enable the multilib repository.
    Uncomment # out from #[multilib]
You have the # uncommented from core, extra, and community but not from multilib

Download " antergos-wallpapers-extra " and enjoy community sponsored wallpapers.

    Thank you. I uncommented only:

    Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

and I forgot to remove the # from #[multilib].

  • Ok :)
