• Nvidia Drivers

    Hello everyone.
I would like to know the easy or the correct way to install my Nvidia driver. It is a Gforce 330M and I tried to find out the solution on google but… it didn’t work because when I rebooted I got a black screen =(.

    Please help me! =’(

  • pacman - R xf86-video-nouveau lib32-nouveau-dri nouveau-dri

    pacman -S linux-headers nvidia nvidia-utils

If you do not change something after installing Antergos.

  • I don’t have lib32-nouveau-dri and nouveau-dri packages. I omitted, but I get a black screen after installation

  • sudo pacman -S nvidia and no need to remove nouveau as all is done automatically during install.

  • I’ve solved it!

I had kernel LTS so… first I needed to install:

    • linux-lts-headers
      I uninstall nouveau:
      -xf86-video-nouveau
Then… nvidia lastest drivers aren’t compatible with my card so… I installed:
      -nvidia-340xx-lts nvidia-340xx-libgl nvidia-340xx-utils
It’s important to install the “lts” driver if you have a "linux lts"
      Finally:
      -sudo nvidia-xconfig
      -sudo reboot

    that’s all
