    After entering in my password and hitting enter it takes like a full minute to load my desktop environment.

    This happens with GDM and LightDM. As well as with Openbox and GNOME

  • Well, I’ve seen at least three services that slow the boot process. These are : bluetooth, tracker and evolution (not a service but the Gnome mail app).

    Can you run this command after booting?
