• How to boot into nongraphical linux


    I installed some gpu drivers and they were wrong, this causes gui boot up crash and restart the computer i need to know how to boot up into non gui so i can fix the problen through command line

    Simply add the 3 parameter to the end of the kernel’s boot line.

  • I’ve used the following.
    Add the following to the kernel boot command after the word quiet (press e when grub appears):

    systemd.unit=multi-user.target
  • The bottom of the boot-loader screen usually guides you in the direction that just gave. If you’re on AMD catalyst-hook still don’t use for newest kernel version so either don’t upgrade or use the linux-lts kernel
