Ok so I’ve been having problems with my multiple GPU + monitor setup. I got two graphics cards, one Geforce GTX 980ti paired with an Asus VX248 144hz monitor and a Geforce GT 610 paired with an Asus VX238 60hz monitor. When I attempt to use either nvidia-xconfig or nvidia-settings to enable the second monitor that’s running on the GT610 it appears to work when I get to the login screen, but Cinnamon goes into a crash loop and MATE goes into a weird unusable erratic state. When I tried to enable Xinerama I get the big white log in screen, but I can’t log in even when I click on the screen. Xrandr doesn’t see the second monitor as its disabled by default so I can’t get it working via xrandr. Any ideas how to make this work?

EDIT: Ok I managed to be able to log in using KDE without any crashing to have the second monitor enabled, but all I end up with is a black screen on the second monitor with an X curser.
