• "Oh no! Something has gone wrong" 64 Bit iso

    Hi All

Im new here and I would like to try your disro, currently the live cd load into a “Oh no! Something has gone wrong” msg and when I press enter I get to the Login Screen. When I then try login it just keeps looping back to the login screen with the time showing?

  • Click on the time ;)

  • I did and all it does is go back to the same screen it just flickers the screen and goes back to the login screen

  • There must be an incompatibility with the graphics card driver. Which graphics card are you using?

  • @karasu the same problem. my laptop is lenovo e430, my graphics card are Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GeForce 610M. how to solve the problem , thank you

  • I have the same problem, with a Lenovo B50-70 with Intel HD Graphics 4000

  • I have the same problem too using Intel HD 4400

  • Ok, it seems there must be an issue with the latest version of the Intel driver.

You can wait until we release a new iso, or you can try to update the driver yourselves (I’ve not tested this myself)
In a terminal (CTRL+ALT+F1) run this:

    sudo pacman -Syy
    sudo pacman -S xf86-video-intel
    sudo systemctl restart lightdm

NOTE: Please, just if somebody else reads this, NEVER issue only a pacman -Sy (or -Syy) in an already installed system, use always pacman -Syu
