• Gnome does no start up

yesterday I installed antergos on my machine. All worked just fine. Today I woke up and Antergos just booted into the command line.
I tried with »startx« but that didn’ work.
When it’s booting I’m also getting some errors (-> screenshots).

With »systemd status lightdm.seevice« I am getting this:

Edit: upload didn’t work for some reason, so here a directlink to the screenshot:

    What’s gone wrong my gnome?

    Don’t use startx

You’re problem is that Lightdm is not working, but I have no clue why. As a quick workaround, try using gdm:

    sudo pacman -Syu
    sudo pacman -S gdm
    sudo systemctl disable lightdm
    sudo systemctl enable gdm
    sudo systemctl start gdm

  • So I installed gdm but when I try disabling lightdm I’m getting this error:

Error getting authority: Error initializing authority: Could not connect: No such file or directory (g-io-error-quark, 1)
  • “Solved” it by reinstalling antergos.
